Boralex Closes $95 Million Financing for Temiscouata II Wind Farm

Boralex Inc. recently announced the closing of a $95 million financing for the 52 MW Temiscouata II wind farm. The farm is located on public lands in Quebec and has been in operation since 2015.

Financing Details

The financing was provided by Desjardins and will be used to repay existing project debt and fund future development.

Quebec Wind Energy Target

Hydro-Québec has set itself a target of integrating 10,000 MW of new wind power capacity by 2035. This represents a significant increase from the current installed capacity of 3,500 MW.

Apuiat Wind Farm Progress

Turbine assembly is underway for the Apuiat wind farm in Quebec. The total capacity of the farm is 200 MW, with Boralex's share being 100 MW.
